Hierarchy Structure

Within each account, you'll find a hierarchy that defines the account's overall structure. This hierarchy is organized into multiple tiers, each with users assigned to them. The levels in the hierarchy align with the authority and organizational structure of your business unit.

Headquarters (HQ)

At the top of every hierarchy lies the headquarters (HQ), which is typically named after the account itself. If a published page exists for the HQ, it represents the entire account.

Hierarchy Tiers

Tier Levels

The different levels in the hierarchy are known as "tiers." These tiers can have various labels, such as branch, region, division, etc., depending on the specific blueprint of the account.

Blueprint Structure

A blueprint is a technical blueprint or structure that defines the number of tiers that exist between the headquarters and an individual user. It serves as the framework for the hierarchy, determining the levels of authority and organization.

Hierarchy Example

In the image below, you can see an example of a hierarchy with a standard blueprint. It includes divisions, regions, branches, and teams, with users typically assigned to teams. This visual representation helps illustrate how tiers and levels are organized within the hierarchy.

This revised structure provides a clear flow of information, starting with the hierarchy structure, moving on to tiers, and concluding with a visual example of the hierarchy.

Viewing the Hierarchy

To view an account’s hierarchy, use the left-side navigation menu within the account to click on the Hierarchy tab.
