In a Slider Scale question, respondents are asked to rate or evaluate something by sliding a marker along a linear scale. The scale often ranges from one extreme to another.
Slider scale questions are beneficial because they have the ability to capture nuanced and quantitative data. Unlike fixed-choice questions, slider scales enable respondents to provide a more nuanced or granular response, offering a more detailed or accurate reflection of their opinions.

Creating a Slider Scale Question
To add a Slider Scale question to a survey:
On the campaign’s primary questions page, expand the + Add New Question menu, then select Slider Question.
Type the question and format it as necessary using the formatting tools.
Under the slider scale preview, insert a start value on the left side and an end value on the right side.
The start and end values must be whole numbers, and the start value must always be less than the end value.
At the bottom of the question editor, mark the question as required (toggle on) or optional (toggle off) for the respondents.
Analyzing the Response Data
Slider Scale questions can be analyzed in the Question Summary and offer a horizontal distribution of the average response. Beneath the visual is a table that displays the number of responses and the total number of responses. The table can be expanded to display each individual response, allowing managers to review specific responses and identify outliers or patterns.
