Multiple Choice Question

A Multiple Choice question is a simple, closed-ended question type that allows respondents to select one or more answers from a pre-defined list of options.



What Respondents See

When the radio button option is used, respondents will be able to choose one options from a list of answer choices provided.

When the checkbox option is used, respondents will be able to select one or more options from a list of answers provided.

Creating a Multiple Choice Question

To add a Multiple Choice question to a survey:

  1. On the campaign’s primary questions page, expand the + Add New Question menu, then select Multiple Choice.

  2. Type the question and format it as necessary using the formatting tools.

  1. Under the variable portion of the question, insert each response option that should be available for the question.

    1. To add additional response options, click the blue + Add Option text below the responses.

    2. To include Other as a response option, and to allows respondents to type in to specify their response, tick the checkbox beside the Other (please specify) field.

Analyzing the Response Data

In the summary of a multiple-choice question, you'll find an overview at the top indicating the total number of responses received and their trend over the selected time frame or date. Below this summary, each response option from the question is displayed alongside the number of respondents who selected that specific option. This layout offers a snapshot of both the overall response volume and the distribution of choices among participants.
