Unsubscribed Transactions Section

Unsubscribed Transactions Section

While the system will continue to respect unsubscribe requests and prevent sending SMS/Email to unsubscribed individuals, these transactions display the information for reporting and analysis purposes.

This dedicated section displays all unsubscribed transactions associated with a campaign within the Account.

The following information is included for each unsubscribed transaction:

  • Campaign Name

  • Customer Information (name, email ID)

  • User Information (name, email ID)

  • Participant Type (agent, customer)

  • Transaction ID

The Unsubscribed Transactions section is important for several reasons, even though it respects unsubscribes and prevents further communication:

  • Reporting and Analysis: It provides a centralized record of all unsubscribe events, enabling campaign performance analysis. You can see trends in unsubscribes, identify potentially problematic campaigns, and understand which customer segments are disengaging. This data can inform future campaign strategies and help improve targeting.

  • Compliance: Maintaining a log of unsubscribes is often a legal or regulatory requirement (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR). This section helps demonstrate compliance by providing an auditable record of unsubscribe requests.

  • Troubleshooting: If a customer claims they are still receiving messages after unsubscribing, this log can be used to verify their request and troubleshoot any technical issues.

  • Data Integrity: While you won't contact unsubscribed users, retaining their information (name, email) associated with the transaction can be valuable for internal data analysis and preventing accidental re-subscription. It helps maintain a clear picture of customer interactions.

  • Internal Tracking: The additional User Information (name, email) and Participant Type (agent, customer) can be useful for internal tracking and accountability, especially in scenarios where multiple users or agents are involved in campaign management. It can help identify who initiated or managed specific communications.

This unsubscribed transactions section is not about re-contacting unsubscribed users, but about understanding why they unsubscribed and improving future communications.
