Request a Referral” Link in Secondary Workflow
Add a “Request a Referral” Link in Secondary Workflow
http://Experience.com now allows you to add a Request a Referral link directly into the Secondary Workflow of your Survey Campaigns. This enhancement gives survey takers an easy way to refer new customers immediately after completing a review—boosting referral volume without extra steps.
This guide explains how to enable this new option, how the redirect behaves, and how to use the dynamic URL variable.
What Is the “Request a Referral” Link?
After a customer completes a survey, you can choose what happens next. Previously, you could redirect them to:
A Default Page, or
A Custom URL
Now, there is a third option:
➡ “Request a Referral” page linked to the agent’s ProPage
When enabled, a small http://Experience.com icon appears inside the survey completion screen. If the user taps the icon, they are taken to your Request-a-Referral page.
Where to Configure the New Option
The feature lives inside:
Survey Campaign → Settings → Secondary Workflow
You'll now see a new dynamic field:
[RequestReferralUrl]
How to Enable the Request a Referral Link
Step 1: Open Survey Settings
Go to Campaigns → Survey Campaigns and select the campaign you want to edit.
Step 2: Navigate to Secondary Workflow
Open:
Settings → Secondary Workflow
Step 3: Choose Your Redirect Option
You will see two redirect pathways:
Option A: Default Page
If you select Default Page, a toggle appears:
Request a Referral — ON/OFF
Turn the toggle ON
The Request a Referral icon will appear on the final survey screen
When clicked, it sends the user to the agent’s referral request page automatically
Option B: Custom URL
If you select Custom URL, you can manually insert the dynamic variable:
[RequestReferralUrl]
This ensures each customer is taken to the correct referral page for the agent associated with the survey.
What Customers Will See
When enabled, survey takers:
Complete the survey
See the http://Experience.com logo icon
Tap the icon
Are redirected to the agent’s Request a Referral ProPage
Submit referral details via your standard referral flow
Dynamic Field: [RequestReferralUrl]
This dynamic variable ensures the URL changes automatically based on:
The agent
The profile
The campaign
The account configuration
You do not need to manually insert URLs for each professional.
