Who Can Use Social Posts

Social Posts is available to:

  • Managers (Organization and Account Managers): Set up account-level Social Posts Settings (the "Manage Social Post" master toggle and per-platform "Import Posts" toggles), which apply to all tiers and users of the account. In Phase 1, the actual posting functionality is Agent-only. Managers can access the Social Posts module via View As (impersonating an Agent), or through the Listings module if it's enabled at the account level.

  • Users: Connect, post and manage individual channels; set up Hashtag Groups, Signature Footers, and the Media Library; create/schedule/publish posts; manage Conversations (with sentiment filtering); and view Insights (Hashtag Insights, Top Performers).

📌 Note: AutoPost (automatically posting customer reviews to social) is a separate, existing feature. Within Social Posts, "Manage Autopost" appears as a per-channel link in the Channels tab.

How Social Posts Feature Works

Manager-Level Setup

Managers (Organization Manager and Account Manager) control Social Posts at the account level through Account Settings.

Where to Go: Left navigation → SettingsAccount Settings  → Social Posts Settings

SocialPostAccount_Setting.png
SocialPostAccountSetting2.png

How to Configure

  1. From the left navigation, click Settings.

  2. Click the Account Settings tile.

  3. In the panel that opens, scroll to Social Posts Settings.

  4. Turn on Manage Social Post to enable the feature for the account.

  5. Click Save.

📌 Note: Every toggle in this panel comes with the same warning: "Changes will be applied to all the tiers and users of this account." This is an account-wide setting, not a per-user preference.

Professional Level Functionality

Before You Begin

Before you can create and publish posts, make sure:

  • Your Manager has turned on Manage Social Post and enabled Import [Platform] Posts for the channels you need, in Account Settings.

  • You've connected your individual channel(s) in the Social Posts → Channels tab (a platform being enabled by your Manager doesn't automatically connect your personal account — you still need to authenticate it yourself).

  • Any media you plan to post (images/videos) is ready in a supported format: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, MP4, MOV.

Getting Around Social Posts

The Social Posts app is organized into five tabs:

  • Posts: Your posts, split into Published, Scheduled, Drafts, and Autopost review sub-tabs

  • Conversations: Incoming messages/comments from your connected channels, with sentiment filtering

  • Library: Hashtag Groups, Signature Footer, and Media Library

  • Channels: Connect, manage, or disconnect your social accounts

  • Insights: Hashtag Insights and performance data

The + Create Post button in the top right is available from any tab.

How to Connect Your Channels

Where to Go: Social Posts → Channels

ConnectedChannels.png

Under Connected channels, a list of platforms: Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X. Each shows either:

  • A Connect button (not yet connected), or

  • An Import Post toggle, Manage Autopost link, and Disconnect link (already connected)

How to Connect

  1. Go to the Channels tab.

  2. Click Connect next to the channel you want to add.

  3. Complete that platform's authentication flow

📌 Note: A channel that isn't connected will appear disabled when selecting accounts in Create Post.

Important: Import Post toggle is manager-controlled: Even after a channel is connected, its Import Post toggle may appear grayed out with the message "Please contact your manager to enable the import." This means your Manager hasn't turned on that platform in Account Settings yet.

Check Platform Readiness

Below Media, a Platform Readiness row shows each selected platform's status (e.g., "Facebook — Ready to publish") before you send your post. This area also surfaces two live checks on your content:

Engagement Score: A live score out of 100 (e.g., "Good · 77/100") with a specific tip to improve it (e.g., "Remove gibberish text at end; add engaging image.").

Compliance Checker: An expandable panel flagging regulatory and compliance issues in your post before you publish, grouped by severity:

  • Must Fix: Blocking issues that need to be resolved before publishing (e.g., missing or improperly formatted NMLS ID disclosure, missing Equal Housing Opportunity statement/logo)

  • Review: Non-blocking issues worth double-checking (e.g., unclear advertiser identification)

Each flagged issue quotes the specific problem text, explains the regulation it relates to (e.g., SAFE Act, Fair Housing Act/HUD advertising guidelines), and suggests a fix.

How to View Insights

Where to Go: Social Posts → Insights

  • Filter by platform (All platforms, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) and time range (All time, Last 30/60/90 days)

  • View Unique Hashtags, Total Uses, and Top Performer

Engagement Score uses a weighted formula: impressions ×10, likes ×2, comments ×1.5, shares ×2, clicks ×2, leads ×20. This same formula powers Top Performers. Instagram clicks/leads are excluded from the score since per-post UTM attribution isn't possible from organic IG.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If a platform is missing from Create Post, go to Channels and click Connect for that platform.

  • If a platform is connected but its Import Post toggle won't turn on, ask your Manager to enable it in Account Settings; you'll see "Please contact your manager to enable the import" on the toggle.

  • If the AI Assistant won't generate anything, check the tries counter (5 per post, shared across Write, Enhance, and Repurpose); once used up, write the rest manually.

  • If the media won't upload, confirm the file is JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, MP4, or MOV.

  • If different platforms need different post times, use Schedule separately per platform and set each one individually.

If everything looks correct and the issue persists, contact Support for help.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I connect to a new social channel?

You can connect your social accounts from the Channels tab within Social Posts or from the Connections module. This is different from your Manager enabling the platform at the account level—both steps are required before you can publish posts.

What happens when I run out of AI tries?

The AI Assistant is limited to 5 tries per post, shared across all three tabs (Write, Enhance, Repurpose). Once used up, you can still publish — you just can't generate further AI content for that post.

Can I edit a post after it's published?

Yes. Open it from the Published sub-tab under Posts and edit using the same tools.

Can I post different content to each platform from the same post?

Yes. Switch from the All Platforms tab to a platform-specific tab (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) in the composer to customize content per channel.

Is AutoPost the same as Social Posts?

No. AutoPost automatically posts customer reviews to social and is a separate, existing feature. Social Posts is for manually created and AI-assisted content. The two connect only through the "Manage Autopost" link in the Channels tab and the "Autopost reviews" sub-tab under Posts.

Final Note

The new Social Posts workflow brings writing, reusable branding, organized media, and conversation tracking together in one place. This helps your team publish confidently and consistently across every connected channel.
