A Ranking Question is a survey question that asks respondents to prioritize or order a list of five items based on their preferences, importance, or other criteria. The benefit of ranking questions lies in their ability to discern the relative importance or preference of different elements within a set.

Creating a Ranking Question
To add a Ranking Question to a survey:
On the campaign’s primary questions page, expand the + Add New Question menu, then select Ranking Question.
Type the question and format it as necessary using the formatting tools.
In the variable section, there are five text boxes for response options. Enter five responses in the order they should appear on the screen for the respondent. The respondent will use the number boxes on the left to rank their options.
To re-order the response options, drag and drop while pressing the dots on the left of the response option.
At the bottom of the question editor, mark the question as required (toggle on) or optional (toggle off) for the respondents.
Analyzing the Response Data
Rating Scale response data can be found attached to the question within a campaign’s Question Summary. 1-5 rating scales display a tiny graphic with the average rating and a table breakdown of the responses.
1-10 rating scales display a bar graph with the average rating and the table breakdown of the responses.
