Overview
Experience.com streamlines the use of SMS contact in campaigns with the provision for customization across up to eight unique messages, mirroring the structure familiar from email setups. This includes an initial request, up to three automated reminders, two distinctive completion emails, a secondary workflow follow-up, and a retake request. Each SMS can be toggled on or off depending on the desired use and can be used to supplement a campaign’s email communications.
Important Note!
Experience.com does not offer SMS delivery analytics or visibility into unsubscribe lists. With a unified number for all SMS campaigns system-wide, opting out of messages by texting STOP, even in response to a communication from a different agent or company, may result in individuals not receiving subsequent SMS messages.
Using SMS as a supplement to email in a campaign offers a quick and impactful way to boost engagement. With higher open rates and immediate visibility, SMS is ideal for time-sensitive information and urgent calls to action. Its concise nature makes it effective for important reminders and personalized updates, providing a complementary channel to email for a well-rounded communication strategy.
Campaign Delivery
Similar to email communications, it's crucial to review and understand the Delivery Settings for the campaign. This involves checking whether the campaign is triggered immediately, scheduled for a specific date, or set to recur based on specific triggers. Familiarizing yourself with these settings ensures that your SMS messages align with your intended timing strategy. Additionally, take note of the permissible days and times for SMS message delivery to optimize the chances of reaching and engaging your audience effectively. By being aware of these delivery settings, you can tailor your SMS message(s) to maximize its impact and relevance.
SMS Setup
Once SMS has been enabled in the campaign’s General Settings and the delivery settings have accommodated SMS delivery times, the SMS messages can be configured in the SMS Setup page. Here, each message can be enabled or disabled and customized based on the campaign’s communication strategy.
Dynamic Fields
Dynamic fields play a crucial role in personalizing SMS messages within a campaign. Similar to email setup, the available dynamic fields, dependent on the ingestion connection, determine which fields can be utilized. These fields can be copied to the clipboard for easy insertion into a campaign, enabling tailored and personalized messaging.
For incorporating the recipient's unique survey URL into an SMS message, the dynamic field [SMSLink] is utilized, ensuring a seamless and personalized survey experience for each recipient.
Automated Reminder SMS Messages
When expanding the sub-menu for Survey Reminder, you'll encounter three automated reminders that are available for enabling and customization.
It's crucial to pay attention to the cadence established within this menu and consider how it might interact with or complement the cadence configured for email reminders, if any. Harmonizing the timing and frequency of both SMS and email reminders is essential for crafting a cohesive and effective survey reminder strategy.
A well-coordinated cadence ensures that your audience receives timely and consistent reminders without overwhelming them, resulting in a more seamless and engaging survey experience.
