Recent and positive reviews play a crucial role in elevating search rankings while engaging with customer feedback through replies demonstrates proactive customer interaction, a factor highly regarded by search engines. Thus, maintaining a steady flow of reviews and promptly addressing them can substantially impact professionals' online presence and search performance.
Collecting Reviews
Professionals have several avenues to collect reviews, all of which contribute positively to their Search Rank Score. They can prompt clients to utilize the Write a Review button on their profile to share their feedback and ratings. Additionally, reviews can be imported from platforms such as Google Business Profile, Facebook, and Zillow. Moreover, on their dashboard, professionals can directly send review requests to specific recipients, enhancing their review collection process.
‘Write a Review’ Button
On each professional's Experience.com profile, visitors and individuals who have conducted business with the professional can leave reviews about their experiences by clicking the Write a Review button.
Upon clicking this button, visitors are prompted to enter their details, including their name and email address. They can then submit a review using a text box and rate their experience on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 representing a terrible experience and 5 representing a great one.
To prevent spam submissions through this publicly accessible link, individuals must complete a reCAPTCHA form and verify their identity via a verification link sent to the email address provided in the form. Once the reviewer has verified their identity through the link, their review will be posted on the professional's page, and the professional will receive a notification of the new review.
Quick Tip!
To share your review form, simply right-click the ‘Write a Review’ button and choose ‘copy link address.’ You can then add this link to your email signature or send it directly to clients, making it easy for them to leave feedback on your profile! (see image below)
Request Reviews
On the professional's dashboard, positioned just below the Search Rank Game quick action cards, lies a prominent blue button labeled Request a Review. Upon clicking this button, a menu expands from the right side of the page, prompting the professional to input the recipient's contact information (name, email) along with pertinent transaction details (type, transaction ID, location, etc.). After confirming the details, the professional clicks the blue Send button to dispatch a survey request to the intended recipient.
Import Reviews
By linking specific social accounts, professionals can import reviews directly from their social profiles, including Google Business Profile, Facebook, and Zillow. To learn more about connections for importing reviews, read about Connections.
Professionals must establish a connection using the OAuth authentication method to import reviews from Google Business Profile. It's important to note that connecting to Google Business Profile with PlaceID will not facilitate the importation of reviews.
Replying to Reviews
Engaging with customer feedback through replies demonstrates proactive customer interaction, a factor highly regarded by search engines. Replying to reviews improves a professional's online presence and increases their Search Rank Score.
While the Search Rank Game conveniently presents the professional's un-replied reviews for crafting responses, the Reviews Management page, accessible from the left-side navigation menu, is the central hub for managing reviews, including the ability to reply to them.
Manually Reply to Reviews
To respond to a review on the Reviews Management page, the professional simply needs to click the blue Reply button. They can then type their reply in the text box that appears and click the blue Send button.
Reply Using AI
The Reply using AI feature empowers Pro professionals to harness the capabilities of AI in crafting the perfect responses to their reviews. With each review, professionals can generate an AI-suggested reply, with the flexibility to edit or regenerate it up to four additional times if needed. Pro users can leverage this feature to respond to an unlimited number of reviews.
To utilize this functionality, simply click the blue Reply button to respond to a review. Then, in the text box, click the oval-shaped button labeled Generate Reply Using AI. The AI-generated text will populate the text box, where it can be further customized or rewritten as desired. Once satisfied, click the blue Send button to post the response.
❓ I am a Pro user, but I don’t see the ‘Generate Reply with AI’ button when replying to reviews.
Pro users who don't see the Generate Reply with AI button when replying to reviews might need to adjust their account settings. To do this, go to Settings on the left menu, then pick Review Settings. Scroll down until you find Review Settings and make sure the switch for Allow Reply Using AI is turned ON.
