Visitors on Experience.com have the ability to search and browse through professional profiles. The platform boasts a comprehensive database of over 20 million professionals in the United States, facilitating visitors in finding the most suitable professionals based on their specific needs. The scope of Experience.com extends to registered users and visitors, enabling them to perform searches and browse professional profiles using keywords within a specified location and business service category.

On Experience.com, search results prioritize professionals with the highest Search Rank Score, placing them at the top of the page. The search results page seamlessly integrates both a merged list and map view for enhanced user experience. Positioned side by side, the left half of the page displays search results, while the right half features a map view.

Viewing Professionals on the Map

Each professional is represented as a pin on the map. Clicking on a pin highlights the corresponding search result in the map view. Pro professionals are distinguished by larger pins with distinctive colors, setting them apart from claimed (free) or unclaimed professionals, and professionals ranking in the top 5% are distinguished with a banner across their profile photo.

For further convenience, an "Expand" button located at the top right of the map allows visitors to view the map in a larger section of the screen, providing a more detailed and immersive map experience.

Location-Based Searches

In the context of search results, if the visitor's location is captured from sharing their location, Experience.com considers a 10-mile radius around the identified location for enhanced precision. This geolocation feature ensures that the search results are tailored to the visitor's immediate vicinity. That and other filters can be adjusted by clicking on the funnel icon at the top of the list view.

Sorting Search Results

To further customize the search experience, visitors have the option to sort professionals based on various criteria, including but not limited to Recommended, Most Viewed, Highest Rated, and more.
