Tier Settings

The Tier Settings menu encompasses both tier-specific settings and permissions, which are used for the tier’s public page and also designated as defaults for users created and assigned to that tier. Within this menu, various aspects can be configured, including Public Profile Settings, Reviews Management Settings, and Social Share Settings, to tailor the tier and user experience and access control within the tier. Updates to a tier’s settings from this menu will not impact or change the profiles or settings of individuals assigned to the tiers.

At the top of the settings menu are key identifiable features of the tier, including:

Tier name

The tier name can be edited here and will be updated across the XMP.

Parent tier

The tier it is assigned to (under); to move it to a different parent tier, read Move Tiers.

Tier type

The type of tier it is (HQ, region, branch, etc.); once a tier is created, it cannot be changed

When enabled, reviews can be imported from Google to the tiers page (when connected via authentication).

Import Facebook Reviews

When enabled, Facebook reviews can be imported to be managed in the XMP.

Allow user to reply to reviews

When enabled, users will have the ability to reply to their own reviews as long as it meets the minimum score threshold set in the following field.

Minimum score to reply on reviews

The slider scale with a dynamic number to the left indicates the minimum average score a review must be to allow a user to reply to it. If a review is received with ascore lower than what is set here, the user will be unable to reply to the review. In this case, it is recommended a tier or account manager reply on the user’s behalf.

Social Share Settings

The social share settings category includes auto-post settings for the three websites that Experience.com auto-posts reviews to: Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter).

Modifying the social share settings for any of these sites from the tier settings menu will not impact the current settings for individual users already assigned to the tier. Instead, modifying this setting will become the default values inherited by new tiers or users created within the tier. These settings also dictate which reviews will be posted on the tier’s connected social pages.

Allow autopost

There are 3 total ‘Allow autopost’ toggles, one for each social site. For each one,

  • toggle ON to allow auto-post (as the default value for tiers) onto the social site

  • toggle OFF to disable the autoposting of reviews to the social site

Minimum score to auto-post on social media

Displayed if auto-post is enabled.
