Email-Only Campaigns

An email-only campaign is tailored for campaign creators seeking to convey information over a designated period without incorporating surveys or survey links. This campaign type exclusively consists of a series of email and/or SMS messages strategically crafted to communicate messages, updates, or announcements. Ideal for scenarios where direct interaction and data collection through surveys are not the primary goals, an email-only campaign provides a focused and effective avenue for consistent communication with recipients.

Campaign creators can leverage this format to deliver information, updates, promotions, or any content relevant to the recipients' experience. The absence of surveys streamlines the communication process, making it a perfect choice for scenarios where the primary objective is to inform and engage the audience through thoughtfully crafted emails and SMS messages, and NOT to collect feedback or data relating to experiences.



Creating an Email-Only Campaign

On the Campaigns page, hover over the arrow to expand the Create New menu. When it expands, select Email Campaign.

When the template menu expands, select the template you would like to use by clicking Use Template.

General Settings

Email-only campaigns have limited settings since there is no survey or reviews associated with it. In the General Settings, there are three settings to manage:

  1. Allow manual campaign: allow the campaign to be manually triggered to a recipient (by a user)

  2. Enable SMS: enable SMS messaging for the campaign’s communication (addl. setup required)

  3. Duplicate survey duration: the number of days that must pass before a recipient can receive the campaign again.

 

 

Delivery Settings

The delivery settings in an email-only campaign mirror the familiar structure of delivery settings in survey campaigns. Firstly, creators select the delivery type, choosing between email and/or SMS to align with the preferred communication channels. Subsequently, they define the type of delivery, deciding whether it should be a recurring, immediate "send now," or scheduled for a later time. This flexibility accommodates diverse communication needs, allowing for both real-time updates and carefully planned, scheduled messages.

 

 

Moreover, similar to survey campaigns, email-only campaigns offer the option to establish delivery windows. This involves specifying the days and times during which campaign communications can be dispatched. This feature empowers creators to optimize delivery based on recipient availability and engagement patterns, ensuring messages reach the audience at the most opportune moments.

Email Setup

In the email setup for an email-only campaign, you have the flexibility to configure up to five unique emails. These emails can be fully customized to communicate information progressively over a specified period, allowing you to tailor the number of days between each email to optimize engagement.
