Profile Unpublishing on Experience.com

At Experience.com, we understand that controlling your profile's visibility is important. While complete profile removal is not available, you can unpublish your profile at any time. Unpublishing hides your profile from search results and the web but keeps it accessible for future use if you decide to republish it. This also helps avoid duplicate profiles with the same information.

Steps to Unpublish Your Profile:

  1. Claim Your Profile
Ensure that your profile is claimed and that your email address is up-to-date.

  2. Navigate to the Profile Section
Use the left-hand navigation to select the "Profile" tab.

  3. Update Your Contact Information
Before unpublishing, double-check your Name, Email Address, Phone Number, and Physical Address. Keeping this information updated helps prevent the creation of duplicate profiles.

  4. Unpublish Your Profile
In the top-right corner of the profile editor, click the "Unpublish" button. This will remove your profile from public view on Experience.com and from Google search results.

  5. Republish Anytime
If you change your mind, simply log back into your Experience.com account and click "Publish" to make your profile visible again.

Your profile will remain available to republish whenever you’re ready, ensuring all your data remains intact.

The steps outlined above are demonstrated in the video below, beginning at step #2, after a professional has claimed their profile.
