Campaign delivery in the platform offers a range of scheduling options tailored to meet diverse communication needs. Campaign creators can opt for recurring delivery, specifying days and time ranges for campaigns to be systematically dispatched. Alternatively, the ‘send now’ option enables immediate dissemination to recipients of the ingested data, optimizing real-time communication. For strategic planning, creators can schedule campaigns for later, allowing them to choose a specific date and time for optimal delivery. Moreover, creators can configure campaigns to reach all recipients simultaneously (in bulk) or to deploy in smaller, staggered groups (batches) over predefined intervals, facilitating a controlled and efficient distribution process. This flexibility in scheduling empowers creators to align their campaign delivery with precise timing and strategic objectives.

Recurring

The recurring campaign, the default setup, streamlines the scheduling process by allowing the establishment of weekend and weekday time frames for survey delivery once data is ingested from the source. This configuration ensures that the data source automatically and consistently ingests new data and initiates campaign deliveries to recipients within the specified time frames. The automated and systematic nature of recurring campaigns simplifies the ongoing communication process, providing a reliable and efficient method for reaching recipients at designated intervals.

Send Now

The Send Now delivery option expedites campaign delivery by transmitting campaigns to recipients in the data file at the present date and time. This functionality allows for on-demand file uploads or data ingestion, initiating immediate campaign deliveries upon command. Whether choosing to launch campaigns all at once in bulk or in smaller, staggered groups over predefined intervals (in batches), the "Send Now" option provides flexibility and control in the timing and distribution of communications. This real-time delivery capability ensures that time-sensitive messages reach recipients promptly, enhancing the agility and responsiveness of campaign deployment.

Send in Bulk

The Send in Bulk option triggers the simultaneous delivery of a campaign to all recipients identified in the data file or through ingestion. To ensure that a campaign reaches all recipients concurrently, set the Send in Bulk toggle to YES.

This straightforward configuration streamlines the process of mass communication, enabling accounts to efficiently disseminate campaigns to the entire recipient list with a single action. The Send in Bulk feature is instrumental in scenarios where synchronized and immediate communication with the entire target audience is paramount.

Send in Batches

The Send in Batches option provides a structured approach to campaign delivery by disseminating the campaign to recipients in smaller, staggered groups with a specified time interval between each batch. To implement this delivery strategy, activate the Send in Batches toggle by setting it to YES. Additionally, configurers have the flexibility to define the duration, in hours, between each batch. This feature is particularly useful when a controlled and phased dissemination of a campaign’s content is preferred, allowing for strategic management of recipient engagement over time or load management on servers for the largest files.

Schedule Later

The "Schedule Later" feature empowers managers with precise control over campaign initiation. Managers can designate a specific start date for campaign deliveries and specify the time zones, all referenced in Eastern Standard Time (EST), for optimized recipient delivery. This flexibility allows for strategic planning, ensuring campaigns are deployed at the most opportune times for the target audience.

Schedule Later accommodates bulk and batch delivery for campaigns. Managers can opt to send campaigns in bulk, reaching all recipients simultaneously, or in batches, disseminating the campaign to smaller groups over a defined period.

Send in Bulk

The Send in Bulk option initiates the simultaneous delivery of the campaign to all recipients within the data file. This occurs once the specified Start Date is reached, and within the specified delivery times (in EST) set forth in the delivery settings.

Send in Batches

The Send in Batches initiates the distribution of the campaign in smaller groups (batches) as configured in the settings. After the specified Start Date is reached, these batches are systematically delivered within the defined delivery time windows and over specified time intervals, which can be customized in terms of days or hours.

Updating the Delivery Settings of an Active Campaign

The flexibility of modifying the delivery type (recurring, send now, schedule later) for an active campaign is limited to a single update. Once the delivery type has been modified, the associated fields become fixed in their current state and cannot be further altered.

This restriction is in place to maintain the integrity and consistency of the campaign settings, ensuring that subsequent modifications do not compromise the intended delivery method and associated configurations. Managers are advised to carefully consider their campaign delivery strategy before making the initial activation or subsequent update to the delivery type, as additional adjustments to this parameter will not be permitted for the active campaign.
