The Local Search Boost upgrade is an advanced feature exclusive to PRO users on Experience.com that amplifies professionals' visibility within specific geographic regions. This premium enhancement enables professionals to purchase zip codes, ensuring their profiles appear prominently in the sponsored search results on the Experience.com platform when visitors search within those designated zip codes or locations.
What is Sponsored Search?
When users search for a sponsored zip code, sponsored profiles are displayed prominently above organic search results. The availability of zip codes is subject to change based on cancellations or non-renewals by other professionals.

How Sponsored Search Works
When a visitor searches for a specific category in a zip code, all the profiles that have purchased the zip code & category will be part of sponsored search results.
When a visitor searches for a specific service in a zip code, up to 3 sponsored profiles (who had purchased the service in that zipcode) are displayed above organic search results.
Zip code availability depends on existing subscriptions, cancellations, or non-renewals by other professionals.
How to Purchase Zip Codes
Step 1: Add to Purchase
Click the "Add to Purchase" button in the Sponsored Search card.
Step 2: Select the Zipcode for the chosen category
You can see that the Category is automatically selected from the primary category that you have chosen in your profile.
You can change your category by navigating to the Profile section and clicking the Edit button on the hero section. Choose your desired category from the given dropdown.
Search for your desired zip codes and select the zip codes where you want to boost visibility.
Choose from the available zip codes. You can additionally select services for which you want to show up as sponsored results in the selected zip code.
Select from the given list of services. You can even select multiple services for a zipcode.
Step 3: Review Order Summary
Review your purchase plan, billing period, zip codes, and services. Then, proceed to checkout.
Step 4: Confirm Subscription
Review your details and enter your card information.
Click "Pay Now" to complete your purchase.
Accessing the Local Search Boost upgrade is exclusive to professionals who have upgraded to the PRO plan on Experience.com. PRO users can acquire zip codes during the upgrade process or through the platform's Upgrades section at any time after that. Once upgraded, users can navigate to the Manage Subscription page in the Upgrades section. On this page, users can utilize the action menu in the top right corner to select Manage zip codes, enabling them to specify and procure the desired zip codes for enhanced visibility in search results.
Pricing and Cancellations
When a zip code is purchased through the Local Search Boost upgrade, charges are prorated to align with the billing cycle of the user's PRO package, ensuring seamless synchronization. If a user decides to remove a purchased zip code mid-billing cycle, they will still maintain visibility in sponsored results until the end of the paid period for that month. The removal request will occur from the following billing cycle, ensuring a smooth transition. Additionally, upon the user's base PRO subscription expires, all associated zip codes will be deactivated, resulting in the user's profile no longer appearing in sponsored results for those specific zip codes.
Managing Purchased Zip Codes
Once zip codes have been purchased through the Local Search Boost upgrade, users can conveniently manage them on the Manage Subscription page, accessible within the Upgrades section of the platform. By navigating to this page, users gain access to a suite of subscription management tools. Users can easily select Manage zip codes by utilizing the action menu in the top right corner of the Manage Subscription page. This action opens a menu where they can efficiently add or remove zip codes that they have purchased, providing them with flexibility and control over their targeted geographic visibility.
