DocuSign Integration
Overview
DocuSign eSignature is document signing software that you can use to legally—and securely—collect approvals online in minutes. Used to replace lengthy manual signing processes, e-signatures speed the agreement process and maximize productivity.
Experience.com’s DocuSign integration solution allows enterprise customers to automatically send surveys to desired recipients during and after key moments in the document signing process. The DocuSign integration allows you to:
Ingest data from DocuSign documents into Experience.com.
Map ingested data to campaigns within the account
Automate campaigns and send surveys to document signees or participants and partners based on role, document type, or location.
Transactions ingested from DocuSign into the XMP are labeled as verified transactions.
Prerequisites for Configuring a DocuSign Integration
Several prerequisites must be met before Experience.com can access and ingest process or project data from DocuSign. Experience.com uses an API integration to connect and share data with other applications, like the XMP. To integrate with DocuSign from the XMP, you will need:
Your DocuSign UserID
Your DocuSign Account ID
The User ID and Account ID can be found in your DocuSign account in Settings > Integrations > Apps & Keys > My Account Information.
Configuring the DocuSign Integration
When integrating DocuSign with your XMP account, the OAuth method is employed. During this process, you will be redirected to a designated page to log in to your DocuSign account. This ensures a secure and streamlined connection between the two platforms. By logging in and authorizing access, you enable XMP to interact with and utilize assets within your DocuSign account. After accepting the requested permissions, API details will be collected in the XMP configuration panel to finalize the connection. The steps below outline the quick process:
Create a new DocuSign Connection in the Account’s Ingestion setup.
To create a new configuration, navigate to the Account Settings page and open the Ingestion Settings. Click DocuSign, and then click the blue New Connection button.
When redirected, log in to the DocuSign account that should be connected to the XMP for data ingestion.
Once you have entered your login credentials, allow Experience.com the permissions requested by clicking Allow Access.
Once logged in, you will be redirected back to the XMP to finish configuring the integration. Here, you will be required to enter the User ID and Account ID you collected from your DocuSign account. Enter the required information and click anywhere in the white space to allow the system to validate the information provided.
