Essential details like basic information, contact details, offerings, personal information, and location data contribute to earning points toward the Search Rank Score.
To maximize points in the Profile category, professionals should claim their profile, fill out all required profile information, and complete as many optional fields as possible!
Top of Profile Information
At the top of the professional's profile are their critical profile details, such as their name, title, profile image, cover (banner) image, and star ratings.
Share Profile
A Share Profile feature allows professionals to share their profile via platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, or X, or simply copy a shareable link. To view sharing options, click the social icon .
Then, select the site to share your profile. To copy a link to your clipboard, click the copy button on the right of the URL.
Pro tip! This link is ideal for email signatures. Copy + Paste it into your email’s signature to share with potential clients and/or colleagues.
Updating Top of Profile Information
A professional's name and title are fundamental to how their profile appears to visitors and those searching for them on the web. Also available for customization are the professional’s profile URL, their profile photo, and the cover photo displayed at the top of their profile. To update this information, the professional can click the pen icon at the top of their profile.
This is also where they can update their profile URL, profile photo, or cover photo.
The ideal dimensions for a cover photo are 1000x100.
Quick Actions
When professionals access the Profile page from within their account, they encounter a list of quick actions designed to help them achieve a comprehensive profile, along with the points they can earn toward their Search Rank Score by completing each task.
A progress bar positioned at the top of the quick actions page visually illustrates the extent of progress the professional has made towards reaching the maximum points available in the Profile category.
Reviews
The Reviews tab on the professional's profile showcases a preview of all publicly displayed reviews. Here, professionals can take various actions such as flagging, sharing, replying, or pinning reviews. Additionally, they have the option to filter and sort reviews, mimicking the experience of a visitor browsing their profile.
Rating
The Rating tab on the professional's profile provides an overview of their ratings across multiple connected platforms, such as Experience.com, Zillow, Google, and Facebook. Alongside their scores on each platform, the professional's Total Experience Score, which combines ratings from all connected profiles, is prominently displayed on the page.
What is the Total Experience Score?
The Total Experience Score is a professional’s average rating based on their reviews across Experience.com and several integrated third-party platforms, including Google, Zillow, and Facebook. The Total Experience Score, combining reviews and ratings from customers across several sites, increases a professional’s online reputation and provides credibility to customers searching for services.
